So What is a blog?
Generally speaking, a blog is an online website journal consisting of dated entries or postings, images, videos, and links in reverse chronological order, meaning the most recent posting appears at the top of the page.
A BLOG is usually updated frequently, maybe monthly, weekly or even daily, it all depends on the blogger(author).
Most blogs enable the visitors to post comments and/or suggestions allowing interactivity between the blogger and the visitors.
Once you have the Blog set up you can post whatever information you like. It's really a fast way to get your articles and information up on the web and the templates look great! You don't have to mess with all the technical end of getting something up on a web page (HMTL layout, FTP, ect...). The real cool thing about Blogs is that you can set up an account and create your own Blog for free!
Freely available blog publishing tools on the net make it easy for anybody to publish their own blogs, so there is a lot of variety in the quality and content.
Blogs are primarily textual but there are many types as photoblogs, videoblogs, and audioblogs.
What can be included in a blog?
Anything that comes to your mind. In many instances,the discussion depends upon the theme of the website that is associated with a blog. Blogs are an excellent way of expressing opinion. These range from discussions about news, sports, business, hobbies, careers, current events, and various other topics.
If you have an idea, you just type it. That is you blog it.
The are many advantages that Blogs offer over a web site or ezine.
